In 1627, fortifications were made around the city as a war started between France and England. The fort mainly was a stop-over place for merchants coming from Quebec City trading fur for France.
The city was a fort for the settlers as they were protecting Huntington Bay originally named Cheyennes Bay by the Iroquois tribes of the east. The City was established in 17th Century after the french explorer, Jacques Cartier, claimed Esterlon as the New-France. The project is still unfinished.Įver since the Esterlon Community merged with Operation Realism who were making a fictional Californian city named Santa Clara, becoming the Realism Society, Huntington City became available for download, making this one of the most realistic city maps to roleplay in. Including diagonal cable bridges, roads, buildings and houses, the team tried to realize the impossible in Minecraft. More than 300 different homes were built as well as may other builds. With around 1000 builds so far all spread around 9k x 9k blocks city. After only 6 months of hard work, they recruited the best realistic city builders from around the world and those helped contributing to this project. Their goal Do something bigger and better than their last city, Lapiz Point City that already got popular.
The project was started by two founders of the Esterlon Community Server, the famous Yazur Strovoz and Manco Martinez in August 2014. This map was used by Aphmau in her Minecraft Roleplay series, My Inner Demons. Huntington City is a fictional Canadian city map in Minecraft that was built since 2014 by the Esterlon Community (now known as Elite Realism).
